Building self-esteem is something that we all need to get the most of our potential. This has to do with our internal reference. What we perceive, think, and how we judge ourselves is crucial for this growth. One needs the necessary information to develop this dynamic of our personalities.
Happiness, contentment, having harmonious relationships, successes, and body image are some of the associated experiences that lead to one’s state of building self-esteem
Regrettably, too many suffer from an inferiority complex syndrome. This state of mind is debilitating and negates productivity. The consequences of this can produce catastrophic results: overeating, drug and alcohol abuse, depression, mental breakdowns, suicide, and being envious of others. One definitley wants to escape a feeling of inferiority.
Building self-esteem can be accomplished if certain criteria are followed. The following words of wisdom demonstrate ways to build

Life’s Uncertainties
The uncertainties of life are something that should be coveted. When you are uncertain about something different, it can mean that you are about to meet new and glorious horizons. They may seem intimidating when you are not accustomed to them, but do not be afraid.
Judge it carefully. But, look at this moment as a great opportunity as you are building self-esteem. When you are exposed to something different, it can be one of the greatest self-esteem activities to engage in and send your confidence to higher levels.
By using the uncertainties of life to empower you will continuously aid in building self-esteem. This is a powerful attribute to have for it is a foundational tool that leads to substantial success.
Imagination
Imagination is one of the keys to establish a positive way of life. After you begin the imagination process acquire more knowledge to build upon this groundwork. Visualize yourself carrying on your daily activities or tasks with confidence. You can use your imagination to create the feeling of confidence.
Now acquire more knowledge regarding your endeavors. Learn as much as you can. In time, you become a living dynamo experiencing success after success.
Remember the imagination creates the confidence and knowledge accelerates greater confidence. This is a magnificent avenue toward building self-esteem.
Be Yourself
To be yourself, you have to be confident within yourself by accepting who you are as an individual. Recognize your strengths and your weaknesses. Cultivate your strengths and improve your weaknesses.
When you develop that inner belief of confidence, you have laid the framework to fulfill your potential and achieve personal growth! Never pretend like you are somebody else or put on a facade. Just be you!
You have outstanding qualities to develop. Now make the most out of them. You must believe that you are unique, talented, and have something to give to others. You must learn to put away any feelings of inferiority and believe in yourself.
Simple in concept but difficult to practice, but can be done.
Being yourself and accepting the concomitant weaknesses and strengths that you have is great for building self-esteem.
Smart and Bold
Are living you living an unhappy substandard life that you created because of feeling inferior? Then elevate your primitive thinking to a higher plane. Too many times we have created our own setbacks. They can never be solved with a feeble way of thinking.
You must first believe in yourself, so you can get to the next level.
Many have brilliant ideas and are certain that they will produce favorable results, but chose to remain dormant. Think out of the box, be bold, and go after it with all your heart, soul, and mind! Remove any vestige of doubt and drive forward with soaring self-confidence!
This is one of many notable ways to build self-esteem. It does work and will make your dreams a reality.
Credit Yourself
Building self-esteem is a powerful attribute to develop. When something positive happens in your life, stop to analyze it for a moment. Give yourself due credit for making it happen.
Think of all the strengths you possess and ways you contributed, both directly and indirectly, to make this positive event occur.
For example, if you scored well on a test, don’t just think of how hard you prepared for it; give yourself due credit and how your drive, intelligence, and dedication played a role.
Thought patterns such as these will be effective and as a bonus give you a high level of optimism. So remember to give yourself full credit for your accomplishments.
Building self-esteem has to with the evaluation of ourselves as a whole. It can be either positive or negative. It has to do with many factors. Our relationships, occupation,
fitness level,
being traumatized, etc. are what contribute to the condition of building self-esteem.
There are many methods for us to practice as we endeavor to fulfill our potential and achieve personal growth. This choice is ours, so let's take advantage of them.
